Lacy Post (she/her) is a theatre director, performer, and teaching artist. She is interested in work that questions assumptions and embraces the complexities of the human experience. She is passionate about removing barriers to artistic exposure and making art that is cheap and accessible. Puppets help.
Lacy is the founder of Post Haus Presents, producing theatre + live performance in weirdo spaces across Northwest Arkansas. She co-runs Live From the Liars Table, a bi-monthly storytelling series featuring stories on a chosen theme read aloud by local actors.
Based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Lacy lives with Tennessee Williams the dog, an Ozark Holler mutt. Previous to Arkansas, she was based in Brooklyn, New York, where she worked as a director, performer, and production manager of experimental, devised, and site-specific theatre, as well as music / live performance.
Lacy was a 2023 recipient of the Mid-America Arts Alliance Artist 360 award for Practicing Artists. She holds an MFA in theatre directing from the University of Arkansas, and a BA in theatre from Bard College.
